SCBB Food Drive 2024

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN COORDINATING A SPACE COAST BASKET BRIGADE FOOD DRIVE!

This is a great way to have your family, team, kids, or company participate in giving back to our community. Our goal this year is to provide more than 3,500 BREVARD families with a meaningful Thanksgiving Dinner.

We're happy to work together in ensuring your success by providing you with support, marketing materials, and tips for great results.

Your commitment to making our food drive a success! Your role is crucial, and we need you to be the driving force behind this initiative. Actively engaging with your networks can significantly amplify our impact.

HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO SET YOUR FOOD DRIVE GOALS

There are 3 ways that we have seen drives have the most success. Please review and choose the option that works best for you.

Food Drive Suggestions

Sponsor a number of bags. Each bag will contain a full Thanksgiving meal (turkey gift card and sides) for one family. Set a goal number of completed bags you would like to donate and work together as a team to collect all of the items needed. Example 20, 50, 200+ bags.Sponsor a specific food item. Select a food item needed, set a goal of a total quantity and work together as a team to collect. Note our most needed food items are fresh pumpkin pies (not frozen), and turkey gift cards.‍ Example if you have a team of 10 people and each person collects or donates 5 pies, that is 50 families getting pies! Please make sure all expiration dates are AFTER Thanksgiving. We have a great need for gift cards for turkeys so if you feel your team could be successful doing this, please consider signing up to collect $15 gift cards that families can use to purchase a turkey.Open food drive. Either a neighborhood, company, special event, or organization food drive. Spread the word on the drive via email, flyers, and word of mouth - collect as many food items as possible and report your final numbers to us a few days before the Brigade.
