St. Anne Catholic School: Parent Volunteer Opportunities
At SACS, we want our students to learn to follow in Christ's footsteps in service to others. Community service is a central part of our mission at St. Anne. Therefore, we require that parents complete a total of 25 service hours, per family, each school year. (Parents may choose to opt out and pay the $300 fee). Various opportunities for parent service hours will be listed here and updated throughout the year. Classroom teachers always have extra opportunities, as well! We want parents to be involved, so if you have another idea, or these options won't work for you, let us know! Thank you for being part of the SACS community.

PTO Volunteer (Help with fundraisers and/or fun events like Catholic Schools Week and Teacher Appreciation Week/ Time Frame: flexible).
BINGO (Various jobs available / Time Frame: Tuesday and Saturday evenings / double service hours)
Book Fair in the Library (Sept and Feb)
Help provide a snack for faculty meetings
Sign Up for Food City/ Kroger / Box Tops (1 hour)
Parent Patrol Assistant for Extra Curricular Activities (For example, walk students to Soccer Shots after school / Time Frame: usually after school, depends on the activity)
St. Anne Church Volunteer: (Help with children’s activities on Sunday mornings- like Children’s Liturgy of the Word and Sunday School / Help with VBS, etc…)
Parent Talent Share Workshop (What do you love? / come share you passion with our students / Time Frame: flexible)
Work in the cafeteria during lunch (helping sell snacks, prepare and serve food, etc…)
Bulletin Boards! Are you creative? Help us keep our bulletin boards inviting.
