Support Coordination and Employment

This 2-hour certificate training in employment services is geared specifically to support coordinators with an emphasis on gaining functional knowledge to assist job seekers in pursuing their own unique set of supports that result in an employment outcome. Types of employment services (placement, supported employment, customized employment, and supported self-employment.) Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation: (purpose and process.) Common Concerns About Going to Work: (benefits, work incentives, continued supports, and full days.) Benefits of Work: (health, income, friendships, and economics.) The training is delivered using Zoom and incorporates and pre-test and post-test and results in a certificate of achievement in employment services and support coordination. To be eligible for this training, you must be a support coordinator in Georgia. The first cohort will begin in August 2024.
