  • The College of Arts and Law welcomes you all to the new academic year. 

    This day is devised to orientate new postgraduate researchers and welcome back all returning researchers!

    Tuesday 22 September

  • This year's Welcome will start with an informal Q&A coffee morning with various support staff from the College of Arts and Law, followed by the Official Induction, led by the Director of the College Doctoral School, Professor Aengus Ward.

    The Coffee Morning takes place 10.00-11.00 BST. The Official Induction starts at 11.00 BST in the same location and online (location TBC).

    Attending this Induction session is essential to starting your research journey here at the University of Birmingham.
