  • Photography of Ringwood State Park

    Share your photography of Ringwood State Park and help us create a calendar reflecting the beauty of the Park throughout the seasons!  The Ringwood State Park Calendar Contest is open to any photographer who loves Ringwood State Park. 

  • Entries Close September 15th 11:00pm EST

    • The contest is FREE! & open to everyone.
    • Entries should reflect Ringwood State Park (Ringwood Manor, Skylands, Long Pond, NJ State Botanical Garden or Shephard's Lake).
    • The submitter must own the copyright to the photo and will retain it after the contest.
    • Up to 5 entries are permitted.
    • Photos must be color, clear, and of good quality and high resolution — 300 dpi or higher in PNG or JPG format — and no greater than 5MB. If image resolution is too low you will be asked to supply another photo. If a high resolution image is unavailable, another photo may be selected to take its place in the calendar.
    • Photos should be landscape in orientation, appropriately sized to print on an 8 1/2" x 11" calendar page.  Quality photos that display the unique features of the park, different viewpoints and various seasons are more to be selected. Heavily manipulated photos are discouraged. 
    • The final images for the calendar will be selected by a panel of RMAA Board Members and/or persons desginated by the Board to help with the selections. All Decisions are final. 
    • Artists whose photos are chosen for the calendar will receive a free copy of the calendar and the photos displayed in the gallery for the month of October 2024.
    • All entries will be included in an online presentation of the photography shared via Youtube and social media. 
    • All funds raised from the sale of the calendar will be dedicated to the restoration of the Carriage Barn.
    • Photos included in previous RSP calendars are not eligible.

  • Please note:

    Photos taken with a mobile phone are typically not of high enough quality.

  • Agreement

    In agreeing to the terms and conditions, the participant acknowledges that the Ringwood Manor Association of the Arts and Ringwood State Park are merely the organizers of the event and agree to forever release and discharge the RMAA, Ringwood State Park, and it’s volunteers from any and all actions, claims or demands relating to injuries or damages resulting or arising from my participation in the event. They understand that photos of the artists and their artwork may be used for future publicity and/or grant applications. The RMAA will make all efforts to present photos as submitted, but your photo maybe slightly cropped or color corrected for printing purposes.
