We will operate off the school calendar. So, if school is closed FCC Afterschool Program will also be closed.
Late Pick Up Policy – All students should be picked up by 5:30 pm. Parents, who are late due to unforeseen circumstances (please call), will be issued a verbal warning. To avoid situations like these, we encourage parents to have a backup plan that would allow their child/children (with prior approval) to go home with a neighboring parent or a relative listed as authorized to pick up your child from the facility.
The following procedure will be used for parents who violate the pick-up policy.
First Offense – Verbal warning
Second Offense – After 5:30 p.m., a late charge will be assessed at the rate of $10.00 for each 10-minute interval or fraction thereof.
Third Offense- Grounds for one-week suspension from program.
Late charges are due no later than the end of the week in which the infraction occurs. Non-payment of late charges may result in suspension of the child/children from the program. We ask parents to be respectful and courteous regarding this policy.
If a child is left and we have not heard from a parent, or if a parent cannot be reached and no one is available to pick up your child, The Child Protective Service office will be asked to come and transport that child to a safe location.
