- 1. New Employment and retirement transition support
    
    Open to and hire employees aged 50+ when a new or replacement position arises
    
    Offer re-employment or extension of employment to employees after they have reached their official retirement age
  2. Flexible & Age-Friendly Work arrangements and practices
    
    Offer Flexible Work Arrangements (e.g. part-time work, job-sharing, phased retirement, work from home, freelance, project base, contract) to address the needs of 50+ employees
  3. Senior-friendly office design
    
    Consider the needs of seniors by finding them a safe and comfortable workplace: eg, clear direction signage, flexible and ergonomic furniture; well lit; keeping the floor clutter-free and pathways open to reduce trip hazards etc.
  4. Manage a multi-generational workforce
    
    Offer HR and line managers to training programs on "managing multi-generational workforce", and on the other hand, equip employees with cross-generational communication skills to deliver effective communication and to create an age inclusive company culture;
    
    Implement engagement partner program whereby an employee aged 50+ is paired with a younger counterpart to share his/her wealth of experience; or a reverse program pairing younger employees with older workers on sharing on digital skills
  5. Management Support on 50+ workforce
    
    Established clear age-friendly policy and practices
    
    Appoint a sponsor (senior management) to oversee the implementation of age-friendly practices in the company
    
    Training for retirement preparation
