What days and times are you willing to volunteer?
Expectations: 1. Volunteers will be at the library on their scheduled days and times. If volunteers cannot come, they will notify staff before their volunteer shift whenever possible. 2. Volunteers will check in with staff when they arrive at the library. Volunteers may hang up their belongings in the staff office. Drinks and food will also be left in the staff office or the break room. 3. Volunteers will be kind and courteous to all patrons. If you need assistance with a patron, please notify staff. 4. Persons using the library space have a right to privacy. Any information regarding library patrons or staff should be kept confidential. 5. Volunteers will wear appropriate attire. 6. All conversations, including cell phone conversations, shall be limited to a noise level that does not disturb others. The West Fork Library has a zero tolerance for racism, discrimination, sexual harassment, and bullying of any kind. Thank you for submitting your application to volunteer at the West Fork Public Library. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. The library director will be in touch this September to let you know the status of your application. Applicants must be at least 14 years of age to apply and must be a patron in good standing.
