The following questions are to help us get an idea of what dog would be a good fit for you. There are no right or wrong answers, so please be as honest and accurate as possible.
Why do you want a dog? *

Storytail Dogs does not make any guarantee as to their puppies allergenic level, shedding, size or that their temperament will resemble that of the breed they look most like.

To secure your spot on our waitlist, a non-refundable waitlist fee of $500 is required. This fee confirms your commitment and helps us ensure quality homes for our puppies. We process waitlist spots based on the order of approved applications and waitlist fees received. If we cannot provide a puppy by the end of 2027, your deposit will be fully refunded. By making a deposit, you commit to accepting a puppy from the litters due in 2026 or 2027. We will update you on puppy availability and communicate via email or phone. If you choose to pass on a litter, you may retain your place for future litters, but repeated deferrals will require a discussion to determine your continued placement. Final puppy selection prioritizes best fit for the puppy, followed by waitlist order andyour preferences. Applications are processed in the order that they are received and if your home is a good fit, you’ll receive further instructions and updates.
The full Storytail Dog adoption process includes an application, phone interview, matching and prep, and then adoption day! Submission of this application confirms that you understand and agree to the need for screening of adopters, and certify that the information supplied on this application is true and correct.
