  • Australian Curriculum & Positive Education Framework

The Carclew OSHC Program curriculum has been designed around both the ACARA Arts Curriculum, and The Positive Education Framework. Workshops have been created to be flexible and fun, tailored to work for each excursion group. Sessions can be modified to suit the individual learning needs of students aged 5-13 and are designed to be fun!

    Drama
Students get the opportunity to develop their drama skills under the guidance of highly skilled actors. This results in a newfound appreciation of drama, play and fun with plenty of drama games and costumes.

    Music
With expert musicians and music producers backing their beats, students will learn to develop sounds and songs. They will be exposed to playful recording tools including looping machines.

    Photography
Students will become familiar with a variety of cameras to suit all age and accessibility levels while learning creative photography as art making. Expert facilitators will support differing age and readiness levels, while helping them develop their use of structure, setting and intent.

    Dance
Students will be developing, practising and responding to a range of fundamental movements to their favourite music. With professional dancers facilitating, this is suitable for all ages and readiness levels.

    Visual Arts
Supported by professional artists, students will practice techniques such as line drawing, charcoal on paper, water colour or paint which will be used to explore the wonderful world of visual art.
