FRISCO (TX) KAPPA LEAGUE WELCOME LETTER
Dear Parents/Guardians,

We are excited to announce the application for consideration is now open for membership in Frisco (TX) Kappa League, hosted by the Frisco Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated, an award winning mentoring program within the Southwestern Province of Kappa Alpha Psi.

Guide Right is our National Service Initiative and includes all of our youth oriented programs. However, the Flagship Initiative of the Guide Right Service Program is the Kappa Youth Leadership & Development League (Kappa League).

Guide Right is a program of the educational and occupational guidance of youth, primarily inspirational and informative in character. The purposes of the Guide Right Service Program is to place the training, experience and interest of successful men at the disposal of youth.

We focus on developing leadership, creating an achievement mindset, and mentoring. We have mentored over 500,000 young people.

As you may already know, KAPPA LEAGUE IS THE OLDEST, MOST SUCCESSFUL MENTORING PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR! We understand that "Boys will be boys until somone teaches them to be men".

Eligibility:
- Young men must be currently enrolled in middle or high school.
- Young men must be in good standing at their current school (no active suspensions/disciplinary actions.)
How To Apply:
- In coordination with your young man, complete all fields in the Kappa League admission application below.
- Be sure to review all responses prior to submission.
- Applicants will receive a copy of submission.
- Applications must be completed and submitted by August 18,2024.
Membership Application Review Process:
- The Kappa League Committee will only review completed applications.
- The committee will assess responses and decide who will be selected for membership into the program.
- Notification to applicants will be made via telephone or email by August 21, 2024.
