Working in the not-for-profit sector, the arts and creative industries can be exciting and rewarding, offering unique opportunities to develop a variety of skills, meet and collaborate with diverse and talented individuals, and contribute to meaningful and impactful projects that engage with a broad range of communities. An ever-changing landscape allows for constant learning and growth, as well as the satisfaction of seeing creative ideas come to life, through a combination of passion and careful planning. However, this dynamic field also comes with its challenges. There will be times when the environment is fast-paced and the team feel under pressure, demanding quick thinking, adaptability and patience. Midsumma Festival spans 3 weeks and is presented in hubs and venues all across Melbourne. Signature events take place outdoors, attract large crowds, and may involve long hours, which will require some resilience and stamina.
