  • Please gather the following items for your technical support session: 

    • Amplifier
    • Chestpiece Cable
    • Standard Earbuds
    • Standard AAA Batteries (Use standard batteries FOR TESTING ONLY!)

     

    All questions with a red asterisk * must be completed before submitting the form.

  • Install standard AAA batteries

     

     

  • Turn on the Power Switch

  • Check Batteries

    Are you testing with standard AAA batteries? Your amplifier may need to be replaced. Please complete the following contact form and include your QR code that is found on the back of your amplifier.

    Please note that rechargeable batteries may need to be replaced as often as every 6 months.

  • Connect Cable

    If the green light is on, connect the Chestpiece Cable to the Chestpiece Port and a standard earbud set to the Headset Port.

     

    Check for Breath Sounds

    With earbuds in your ear, place the chestpiece on your pretracheal notch. The black ring should be toward your skin.

    Hint:  Simply tapping the chestpiece is not sufficient to test for sound.

  • Replace Chestpiece Cable

    Your Chestpiece Cable may need to be replaced. Please complete the contact form below and include your QR code that is found on your Chestpiece Cable.

  • Follow these steps to pair your Bluetooth Headset to the Sedation Stethoscope Amplifier

    Gather the following items for your technical support session:

    • Amplifier
    • Chestpiece Cable
    • Bluetooth Headset and Charger
    • Standard AAA Batteries

    Use standard AAA batteries for TESTING ONLY!

    Please charge headset for a minimum of 1 hour before pairing.

    We will now proceed with putting the headset in pairing mode.

  • Put the Headset Into Pairing Mode

    1. Turn on the headset according to the instructions for your particular headset.

    2. Press and hold the pairing button until light indicates pairing mode.

    Pairing mode lights will vary per headset model. It could be blinking red and blue or just blue blinking.

    Headset should be charged for at least 1 hour before attempting to pair. If the headset is not fully charged, it will not pair.

     

    Put the Amplifier into Pairing Mode

     

    1. Slide the amplifier switch to ON position.

    2. Press and release recessed pairing button twice using a pairing pin or paperclip. This is located on the amplifier as shown above. Green light will flash quickly.

    Caution:  Use standard AAA batteries for TESTING ONLY!

    When your amplifier and headset are connected, the light on the amplifier will be solid green.

    If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat the pairing process making sure that the amplifier and headset are fully charged.

     

    Finalize your test by connecting the chestpiece cable and listening for sound.

  • With the Bluetooth headset in your ear, place the chestpiece on your pretracheal notch. The black ring should be toward your skin.

    Hint:  Simply tapping the chestpiece is not sufficient to test for sound.

  • Repeat the Pairing Process

    Oops! Sometimes the pairing process doesn't work the first time. This can be because the batteries are not fully charged or the pairing mode on the headset timed out.

    Please check that you are either using standard AAA batteries for testing or that your rechargeable batteries are fully charged in your amplifier.

    Also, make sure that your headset has been charged for at least an hour.
