• Winter Bazaar Volunteer Form

  • We are looking for committed + stoked rock star volunteers for various roles and timeframes! Please fill out the form below and let us know where you can help.

    We appreciate your willingness to donate time to this event and we look forward to chatting with you!

     *Every volunteer must be over 18 or get a parental waiver signed. Please let us know in the notes section if this applies to you. We'd love to have you and will walk you through the next steps.*

  • SETUP

    We will need a solid team of folks to help us with setup. Luckily, Outbound has a team to help move heavy things, set up tables, etc. But OUR setup will be more decoration-based. Hanging lights, putting our decorations, helping our makers get settled in their spaces, and helping with their setup if they request it.

  • EVENT ASSISTANTS

    I will need about three people to be my eyes and ears throughout the day. I need to be mobile and I cannot be in four places at once, so the goal is to have three solid rock stars to assist me in managing this event.

    Ideally, each person will have a set of tasks and duties to take care of and/or keep me updated on.

    • Volunteer Coordinator: Great people skills, effective communicator, familiar with all roles and what they entail, assisting with shift changeovers, and keeping me updated on all of it in case anything changes or does not go according to plan. *This job will include just a couple of hours of prep in the two weeks leading up to the Winter Bazaar).
    • Market Coordinator: This person will be the lead for our Maker's Market. This means communicating with artists, directing them to their locations, giving details and answering questions, and calling me in when it's needed.
    • Kit Assemblers: We will need help the week leading up to the Bazaar, which is HARD because it's Thanksgiving weekend. Please let us know in the comments section if you are flexible that week. 

    I believe there are a few more different roles so if you're open to spending your day helping us, etc. please let us know in the comments!

  • WORKSHOPS

    Depending on your qualifications, you will either teach a workshop or assist a lead instructor. We will need extra hands! We will have THREE separate workshops throughout the day so the timing is still being confirmed. Anyone who selects this as an option will be contacted as soon as we have timeframes finalized.

  • GREET TEAM

    Our Greet Team will be the first introduction to guests when they arrive! We need friendly and spunky folks to engage with every person who walks in the door. :-) We want our guests to feel warm, welcomed, and stoked to have fun!

    This role can include but is not limited to ringing up purchases for workshops/craft stations, directing guests to the correct activities that they are looking for, encouraging them to enter our raffle (that will go to support a nonprofit, TBA), encouraging them to go shop in the Maker's Market since it is Small Business Saturday, etc. We will have all the relevant info and handouts so you have everything at your fingertips!

  • PHOTOGRAPHERS

    We are looking for about three to five photographers to make the rounds throughout the day on Saturday, November 30th. Ideally, for each to spend about one hour or so (or more if you're having fun browsing!). Or if you would like to sign up for longer than an hour, then we can eliminate the need for more photographers.

    This does require experience shooting candids of people, crowds, activities, shopping, etc. We're looking for lifestyle and brand photography.

    Many of you have seen my photos (me, Dani of Wild Sage Creative) of people, places, and things, and we want to keep the style close to that. We will be using this for marketing purposes (so we can do this Bazaar again!) so we are looking for everything to be shot in RAW, and without any major editing necessary (blown out white, so dark that it's grainy when lightened). As I like to say, shooting organically, so the majority of work is in the moment, not in editing.

    We will need to edit to keep with our brand, so you must be okay with that. HOWEVER, no photo will be used without giving you credit. Social media, websites, nothing. You will still own full rights, we will be licensing them. I have an agreement that I use for this with clients and we will make sure we've both signed and agreed to use.

    I cannot promise pay at this point, but I'm working on it. I'll know more soon.

    Please let us know when you may be available to help us gather marketing materials. As some of you know, I am a one-woman show, doing everything. This is truly the biggest gift anyone can give to my business and these community events. Thank you in advance.

  • MARKETING TEAM

    Our Marketing Team will help put out signage on the event day. Before the event we NEED help posting up flyers, chatting with local businesses about promotion, etc. We will also need a couple of solid reel makers to gather content at the market to pass on to leadership. We have a strategy and would love your help!

  • TEAR DOWN

    Luckily, Outbound has a team of helpers, but since we will be using many of my (the organizer's) personal and professional supplies for this, I'd like to have a few people that we can trust to help make sure we gather everything from the hotel at the end of the event. So tear down will include removing decorations and supplies that are staged, helping to carry bins out to cars, etc. Nothing too strenuous!
