    The following categories are defined by the German Waste Electronics and Eletronical Equipment Act (WEEE):

    1. Heat Exchanger
    2. Screen
      Monitor or device containing screens with a surface are of more than 100 cm².
    3. Lamp
    4. Large Device
      Appliance where at least one of the external dimensions exceeds 50 cm.
    5. Small Device
      Appliance where non of the external dimensions exceed 50 cm.
    6. Small Device of Information and Telecommunication Technology
      Equipment where non of the dimensions exceeds 50 cm.

     

    Photovoltaic modules belong to category 6.
