Volunteer Areas:

We are seeking volunteers for the following:

Time Keepers:

Time-keepers will be station on the second floor. They will be primarily responsible for:

Assisting presenters with setup (connecting to projectors, PA, etc.)
Ensuring presenters end on time by giving warning near the end of their time slot
Clearing the room in an orderly fashion after a presentation and resetting the room for the next presenter
Troubleshooting any technical issues or otherwise assisting the presenter as needed (ex. getting them a bottle of water).

Presenter's Table:

Presenter Table volunteers will be stationed at the Presenter's Table. They will be primarily be responsible for:

Watching over all merchandise at the table to prevent damage and/or theft, particuarly when presenter's are absent.
Helping to manage lines in an orderly fashion for book signings

Admissions:

Admissions volunteers will be stationed at the main entrance. They will be primarily responsible for:

ensuring that attendees are dressed appropriately (family friendly)
scanning admission tickets to check attendees in
issuing wristbands to attendees for re-entry
ensuring that only service animals are admitted
assisting with blade purchase claims

I understand that this is a volunteer position and I will not recieve monetary compensaton for my time and/or experience.
I agree to uphold the rules and regulations set forth for Austin Witchfest and report any violations to my team leader.
I understand that Austin Witchfest and/or Palmer Events Center may photograph, film and/or videotape the event. Should I appear in any of these formats, I give my consent for them to use, reproduce, and publish any images of me for commerical/promotional purposes.
Waiver of Liability. I will not hold Austin Witchfest Inc. or Palmer Events Center liable for any injury or death sustained while arriving, volunteering or departing from the festival. I will not hold Austin Witchfest Inc. or Palmer Events Center liable for any lost, stolen or damaged property. A physical copy of this waiver may be required to be signed.
