Puppy Application Barnet Yorkies

Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Barnet Yorkies. It's a tool i use to get to know potential families better to ensure that you get the best friend that you're looking for. As a breeder, I want to make every effort to get to know my potential puppy buyers well before puppies are ready to go home! My application is pretty lengthy, so please make sure you have plenty of time to fill it out. By being thourough, I am able to make sure I am finding the best homes for my puppies. The following questions will help me learn more about you and what you want in a puppy. The questions are being asked so that the right puppy and the right placement of each puppy is made by bringing the various requirements of both the puppy and the new owner(s) into perspective, BEFORE a choice is made. I hope you will agree that the puppy's welfare must be our foremost consideration in considering placement for the puppy. Please answer the following questions as completely and honestly as you can.

Puppies are raised indoors and get daily interaction and neurological stimulations.

After their 7 weeks, they will see few times until the final pickup a dog trainer / animal behaviour consultant to make sure they are starting their life in the best way possible, and be the perfect behaved dogs.

You can continue the training with her or not, it's up to you, no obligation in here.

Puppies will be dewormed, have their first shot, microshiped and vet check before leaving their Mommy.

Puppies are sent home with a care package to help them transition to their new homes, the care packages includes (but not limited to): -Contract, microchip information, health records -Blanket that smells like mother and littermates - Toothbrush - Collar - Leash - Toys - Treats...

I offer one (1) year health guarantee and a lifetime support; and have a strict return policy as I do not want any of my puppies in a shelter, ever.

Pictures and videos will be posted as often as possible, so that at the 6 weeks mark, families feel involved and have an idea of which puppy they like, before picks begin. Puppy picks are done in order of deposits and by me, depending on the answers of this application. ONE visit will be allowed when the deposit will be received and the puppy assigned. There are no exceptions to this.

Every family is different, and there are no right or wrong answers.

I know many families have two working adults and I don't expect anyone to be a superhero and quit a day job just to be able to take home a puppy. Every puppy family has different needs, and this application helps me identify who needs what information and what homes might make the best fit. If you're a veteran Yorkie owner or if this is your first puppy or first Yorkie, I want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring. So again, thank you!

I understand this can be a very exciting time for the potential puppy buyers!

Starting at 6 weeks of age i allow the approved buyers to let me know which puppy they would love in the order they were approved but I will be the one saying yes or no depending on puppy's personality. Once the pick is done, I require a $400 non-refundable deposit to hold until weaning. Deposit goes towards final purchase price of the puppy. (etransfert or check for deposit and cash for the rest at puppy's pick-up)

I completely understand the urge for potential puppy parents to want to come visit their puppies. No visitors in my place until the puppy are 7 weeks of age, and only one visit per puppy will be allowed after their 8 weeks old. No exceptions.

I will post weekly updates of the puppies so you will see many photos and videos of the puppies until you are able to come meet them!

If your application is approved, I will email you with more information on availibitly, pricing, expected pick-up dates... etc. While it's unlikely, I reserve the right to refuse any placement at any time.

If we are on the same page, you'll be required to send a $400 non-refundable deposit within 7 days in order to hold the puppy picked. Please note the deposit policy: if you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter. Should you elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the deposit is forfeited. Deposits are non-refundable.

Puppies will go to their new homes between 10 - 12 weeks depending on their evaluations with the dog trainer/animal behaviour consultant that will meet them after their 7th week.

I have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. I believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact me prior to picking up your puppy.

By receiving your deposit, Barnet Yorkies is agreeing to hold in reserve the chosen puppy until such time as the puppy is scheduled to be picked up. Barnet Yorkies reserves the right to cancel the purchase at any time, if we feel the home is no longer seen as a good fit.
