2025 Online Entry Submission Form

Welcome to the 2025 Nautilus Book Awards Online Entry Form. We're thrilled to have you here.

This user-friendly form requires essential fields (*) to be completed before moving forward in the submission process.

The submission process consists of four simple steps:

1. Book Details
2. Send Your Books (for specific categories only)
3. Upload PDFs, including front and back covers (No manuscripts, reader/sample copies, or "Not for Distribution" watermarked files accepted).
4. Entry Fee and Payment

*** Please read Category Descriptions HERE to ensure it's the best fit. 

* If you believe your book title fits more than three categories, please contact us. We’re happy to discuss your book's contents to ensure it’s entered in the most suitable category.

*If your book lists a 2025 publication date but was physically published and available for purchase by December 31, 2024, please email us at office@nautilusbookawards.com.

*The confirmation email and invoice will be sent to this person/email.

Please press the "Next" button to proceed to the Send Your Books page for your entry.

Please follow these instructions carefully:

• If your book does not fall into any of the following categories, please skip this page by clicking the "Next" button to proceed to the Upload Your Book page.
• If your book falls into one of the categories listed below, you must submit both a physical copy and a digital PDF version of your COMPLETE book that can be purchased online or read in a library.

 

Categories requiring both physical and digital PDF versions:

09 - Gift & Specialty

21 - Photography & Arts

30 A - Children's Picture Books / Fiction Ages 2- 6 Years (Preschool-Grade 2)

30 B - Children's Picture Books / Non-Fiction Ages 2- 6 Years (Preschool-Grade 2)

31 A - Children's Illustrated / Fiction Ages 6- 9 Years (Grades 1- 4)

31 B - Children's Illustrated / Non-Fiction Ages 6- 9 Years (Grades 1 - 4)

 

Please remember to ship published book titles ONLY. We do not accept manuscripts, reader or sample copies, watermarked copies, or "Not For Distribution" materials.

You are required to ship only one (1) copy of each title entered in the categories mentioned above.

Please ship your book as soon as possible after completing the online submission process. Your Nautilus entry is not considered complete until your book is received.

Before uploading, please follow these guidelines:

NOTE: We do not accept manuscripts, reader or sample copies, watermarked copies, or non-for-distribution copies. We review only books that the general public can purchase for reading.

• Ensure the name of your file exactly matches the title of your book. For example, if your book title is "This Black Cat," → your file name should be "ThisBlackCat.PDF." There’s no need to include the author’s name.
• Upload a digital PDF version of your book, including the front and back covers. If your book covers are not intact, upload a separate PDF, JPEG, or PNG of the covers, labeled accordingly → (e.g., "COVERThisBlackCat.PDF/JPEG/PNG").
• Remember to upload published book titles ONLY. We do not accept manuscripts, reader or sample copies, or "Not For Distribution" copies. Watermarked files are accepted only if they are the final copy.

Regular Entry

The Regular Entry Period is from December 1, 2024 - February 1, 2025.

The Regular Entry Fees:

• $130 USD per title
  + $75 USD for the same title if entered in a second or more category(s) 

Final Entry Date: February 1, 2025

*Online Entry Details, Entry Fee Payment, and PDF uploads must be received by February 1, 2025

***Book packages must be received no later than February 10, 2025
