Thank you for taking the time to provide input into FCVic’s State Budget Submission for 2025-26. This survey should take you about 10-15 minutes to complete.
Some things that you should consider when providing your input:
- The attached pdf provides a summary of the status of the recommendations in last year’s Submission, and our initial thoughts on what we might carry forward into this year’s Submission.
- Given the announcement of the $15m funding round for financial counselling services that have a housing angle, are there other cohorts or service gaps that should be prioritised and addressed?
- Are there particular workforce, administrative, development, or other factors that are impacting your work which could be addressed by strategic investment into the sector that is not project-bound?
- We know that there are many social service improvements that can positively impact your clients’ wellbeing. However, for the purposes of the FCVic Submission, we are looking only at projects and improvements specific to the financial counselling profession and services. Other organisations including VCOSS will be looking at social services more broadly.
