Barn Cat Application

I have read the Cats In The City Inc Barn Cat Application and by signing below I agree to comply with all the terms and conditions of the Application as set forth below.

I agree to:

Provide a temporary home for the cat with adequate food, shelter, and water at all times.
Provide a secure home with window screens to protect the cat from falling.
Allow a reasonable time for the cat to adjust to the home.
Notify Cats In The City Inc of any change of address or telephone numbers.
Not give away, sell, or adopt out the cat to ANY PARTY or organization (including but not limited to the ASPCA or Animal Care and Control), and will promptly return the cat to Cats In The City Inc upon Cats In The City Inc’s request.
Not transport the cat or allow anyone else to care for the cat without prior notice to, and approval from Cats In The City Inc.
Notify Cats In The City Inc immediately if I can no longer keep the cat in my home for any reason.
Not hold Cats In The City Inc or any of its volunteers or employees liable for any defect or illness the cat may have or develop and for all claims including but not limited to damage or injury to any person, other animals or property which may be caused by the fostered cat, or expenses incurred as a result of the fostering of the cat.
Notify Cats In The City Inc immediately if the cat is sick. Cats In The City Inc is not responsible under any circumstances for medical bills incurred by you if you choose to take the cat to a veterinarian for medical treatment without prior approval.

Have you lost cats to predators (coyotes, bears, dogs) or other dangers (traffic) in the past year?

You will need to confine the cats for 4 weeks in a small, enclosed structure to help them acclimate to your new place. Generally, we recommend a size Large (42in) or larger wire dog crate for this. Will you need to borrow one from us?
