Candle Care Instructions
Trim the Wick:
Before each use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch to prevent soot and ensure an even burn.
Burn Time:
For the first burn, let the candle melt across the entire surface to avoid tunneling. This usually takes about 1-2 hours.
Burn Safety:
Never burn a candle unattended. Keep away from drafts, pets and children. Place on a heat-resistant surface and keep candles away from flammable materials.
Extinguish Properly:
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Avoid blowing out the candle to prevent smoke and wax spatter.
Keep Clean:
Remove any debris from the wax pool to maintain wick stability and an even burn.
Avoid Overburning:
To prevent overheating, do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
Use a Candle Lid:
When not in use, cover the candle with a lid to keep wax clean from debris and to maintain fragrance.
Candle Safety:
For safety, it is recommended to stop burning a candle when there is 1/2 inch of wax remaining in the container. Burning past this point can cause the candle to overheat the bottom of the container, which could damage the surface it is sitting on and become a fire hazard. Always allow the candle to cool completely before handling or disposing of it.
