    Current Lot Owners in the West Winds Major Subdivision in Bozeman, Montana, (members of the West Winds Master Homeowners' Association, Inc.) may complete and submit the following to report an observed and documented (alleged) violation of the West Winds HOA's Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) to the HOA Board and/or CC&Rs Violations Committee for review, consideration, and appropriate action.

  • As a current Property (Lot) Owner and member of the West Winds HOA, you can use this form to report an observed and documented alleged violation of the West Winds HOA’s Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs) by another Lot owner or their guest(s), vendor, or tenant(s). The HOA Board and/or the CC&Rs Violations Committee will review and consider your submission for appropriate action.

    Submission Requirements:

    1. Provide Your Contact and Property Information

    2. You must have first-hand knowledge and documentation of the alleged violation you are reporting

    3. You may submit ONE (1) violation type per Lot address per submission. If you need to report multiple violations for a single lot address, please submit each type of CC&R violation separately.

    4. You will need to know, understand, and select the specific type of CC&Rs violation you are reporting.

    5. Provide a detailed description of the CC&Rs alleged violation you observed and documented, including who, what, where, when, how, and why this violates the West Winds HOA CC&Rs.

    6. Attach (upload) evidence or supporting documentation to substantiate the reported violation. (i.e., photos or documents)

    7. What action(s) are you requesting be taken by the West Winds HOA to remedy the violation? 

    8. Incomplete or invalid submissions will not be accepted or processed.

  • Parking over 72 Hours on a City Street in  Bozeman, Montana

    Unless specifically denoted in the West Winds CC&RS, the West Winds HOA is NOT responsible for enforcing parking regulations or rules for any vehicle, boat, camper, trailer, recreational vehicle, trailer, etc. that has been parked on a City Street for longer than 72 hours.

    You will need to submit your Parking Complaint to the Parking Enforcement Division of the City of Bozeman.

    City of Bozeman Municipal Code - Parking

    The City of Bozeman (Sec. 36.04.260) requires that all vehicles parked on city streets move every 72 hours. To avoid a citation, vehicles should move at least 500 feet--almost two football fields. This is necessary to ensure that the public streets are used for appropriate parking, not the long-term storage of vehicles. 


    The Parking Services Division enforces this regulation with a $30 citation. After Parking Enforcement Officers collect evidence indicating a vehicle has not moved in at least five business days, they will call a Best Rate Towing to remove the vehicle. Towing fees can be up to $500 plus daily storage fees.
