Parents are not permitted in the classrooms unless they are pre-approved volunteers engaged in school instruction. St. Sarkis Armenian Church shall not be responsible for children left unattended.

St. Sarkis Armenian Church and Sunday School is not responsible or liable for students’ behavior on our premises, in case of falling, getting sick, fighting with other children, or other incidents.

Immunizations:

The American Academy of Pediatrics, the San Diego Health and Human Services Department and the CDC, among other organizations, recommend and encourage all children to receive their routine childhood immunizations as well as their vaccinations for seasonal influenza and Covid-19 when eligible. I understand and accept the risks to my child(ren) if they have not been fully immunized. I also acknowledge that some children attending school with my child(ren) might not be fully immunized.

Social Media Policy:

Photographs and videos will be taken as your student(s) participate in Sunday school throughout the year. Photos may be used only for the purpose of promoting our Church and the Armenian Sunday School program in publications such as our Church and Armenian Sunday School bulletins, newsletters and websites, and throughout the Church and Armenian Sunday School social media accounts. ALL students will be included in group photos. If you do not want your child featured in an up-close photo, please indicate this below by choosing option 2. Names and other personal information will not be identified without the prior approval of the Parent/Guardian.

Curriculum and Schedule
The curriculum for the year for both Youth (3-11 years old) and Teens (12-18 years old) Programs shall include instruction in Armenian Language, Faith and Heritage. School begins promptly at 9:45 AM on Sundays and follows the schedule below:

Youth Program
9:45 AM to 10:00 AM - Morning Greeting and Hayr Mer
10:00 AM to 10:45 AM - Armenian Language Part 1
10:45 AM to 11:00 AM - Recess & Snack Break
11:00 AM to 11:30 AM - Armenian Language Part 2
11:30 AM to 12:00 PM - Faith / Culture / Music / Dance / History

Teens Program
9:45 AM to 10:00 AM - Morning Greeting and Hayr Mer
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Armenian Language / Culture / ACYO Fellowship
10:45 AM to 11:00 AM - Recess & Snack Break
11:00 AM to 12:00 PM - Armenian Language / Culture / ACYO Fellowship

Tuition
Tuition includes Armenian language, faith, history and culture classes; weekly snacks, books ($90 value), and class supplies. Each student will be provided one textbook for the school year. In the event of lost or misplaced books, replacement costs are the sole responsibility of the parent/student.

Youth Program Tuition (students ages 3-11)
- $400.00 for first child
- $350.00 for each additional child
Teens Program Tuition (students ages 12-18)
- $400.00 for each child (no sibling discount)
  - Tuition includes Sunday school tuition, ACYO membership as well as ACYO Summer Nights participation.
  - Please contact Christina Kirakossian at mckirakossian@gmail.com if you would only like to participate in ACYO programming.

Discount Codes
* If you are a dues paying church member, you were emailed a discount code for $50 off your total annual tuition.
* If you are a teacher, you were emailed a discount code for 50% off your total annual tuition.

We believe all students should have access to our programs. Payment plans, sponsorships, and financial aid available upon request. Please email hyeschoolstsarkis@gmail.com to inquire about reduced rates, volunteer opportunities, and sponsorships.
