Del Campo Booster Club Mission Statement To assist the athletic programs by providing financial, advisory and volunteer resources. To assist in the improvement of athletic programs, equipment and facilities and other "special" needs as approved by the board. We raise funds throughout the year for ALL athletic programs and related activities. Additionally, we market and promote Del Campo High School athletic programs in which the lifelong values of sportsmanship, teamwork, integrity, honesty, and commitment are emphasized. We support school spirit and participation, which enriches the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of all students.
The Del Campo Boosters Club supports all of the following sports: Band, Baseball, Basketball, Cheer, Cross Country, Dance, Football, Golf, Soccer, Softball, Swim, Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball, Water Polo, and Wrestling. Both Male and Female of these sports. Vision: The Del Campo Boosters Club is a support organization led by volunteers and exists to serve student athletes, coaches, parents, faculty, and the school community at large. Goals: The DC Booster's goal is to continue funding projects which in the past have included building the stadium, reopening of our pools, providing new bleachers and paint for the gymnasium, building the varsity softball field, purchasing baseball and softball score boards, batting cages, stadium lights, new lockers, and many other costly improvements. The Del Campo Boosters Club is here to support ALL sport teams at Del Campo High School. The Booster Club will make annual contributions to all the sports team accounts at the end of each year providing all of the Booster Club financial obligations have been met and the club has sufficient reserves. The Booster Club will determine the total amount to be allocated and the allocation dollars will be distributed to the team accounts according to the allocation formula. The allocation formula is a set of criteria and a point system that allows teams to earn their portion of the total allocation. The formula is not static and can change if circumstances warrant but the basic elements of the criteria are as follows: 1.Team Size 2.Team's Booster membership percentage 3. Team's (coaches and parents) participation in the Booster Club's fundraising events (includes working the event and donation of raffle and auction items) 4.Head coach (or approved designee) attendance and participation at Booster Club meetings. Three (3) Points is awarded for each meeting when the head coach attends and two (2) points are awarded for head coach designee.
The DC Boosters are not involved with the Gate staffing, or monies collected at the DC football, basketball or volleyball games. The money from the gate is collected by the school and disbursed back to the sports programs. The Booster members will support all sports equally. Executive members will be here to support not only programs of our children but all of the teams making up the Booster Club, equally. Memberships will last for one year from the date purchased.
