  • APPLICANT

    Only ONE representative from each household is to submit an application - the application will cover all people within the home. Please ensure you use the same details as your 2023 application if you are a renewing resident.
  • APPLICATION STATUS & TYPE

    Please select your status (Renewing or New) and type (Owner Occupier, Permanent Tenant or Non-Resident Owner) based on your circumstances.
  • An OWNER OCCUPIER is a person who owns a property located within the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event precinct and uses the property as their primary place of residence. 

    A PERMANENT TENANT is a person who has a rental lease for a property located within the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 event precinct which will be current during the event period; Friday, 25 October to Sunday, 27 October 2024. 

    A NON-RESIDENT OWNER is a person who owns a property located within the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 precinct but does not use it as their primary place of residence. The non-resident owner must be in residence from Friday, 25 October to Sunday, 27 October 2024 to apply for accreditation. If you have permanent rental tenants in your property the tenant will be entitled to the accreditation and should complete their own application form. 

  • RENEWING: 

    Select this option if both following statements are true;
    - you applied for, and received accreditation in 2023 AND
    - all residential details remain the same. 

    NEW:

    Select this option if one of the below apply to you;
    - you are new to the event precinct,
    - you didn't apply for 2023 accreditation as you weren't in residence, or
    - your details have changed since your application last year (ie. moved internally; including units within the same complex). 

  • Please select your status and type based on your circumstances and the above information.

  • AIRBNBS

  • Please let us know if your property is an Airbnb, or if you plan on letting your apartment over the event weekend. This information helps us determine which type of passes to issue for your dwelling.

  • RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS

  • Select the name of the building you live in from the drop down list.

    If your building is not in this list, your building sits outside of the event precinct, and you do not require on-track resident access.

    NOTE: Select "House" if you don't live in a building complex and provide your full street address below.

  • LEASE TYPE

  • Current Active Lease: You have a lease document with dates that cover your current rental period (expiring after the Gold Coast 500)

    Rolling Lease: You no longer have a current lease document and are on a month-to-month lease, with no end date

  • SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION

    All NEW applications and RENEWING PERMANENT TENANTS must provide supporting documentation to verify their claim. Those applications which do not supply relevant supporting documentation will not be processed.
  • Supporting documentation must include the applicants name and the address you are requesting the accreditation for.

    Types of accepted supporting documentation are;

    NEW OWNER OCCUPIER:

    • Current Rates Notice OR
    • Proof of Purchase

    NEW OR RENEWING PERMANENT TENANT:

    • Current Lease Agreement which shows expiry date (must be valid during the event period).

    If you are on a rolling lease, in addition to the above, please also provide:

    • A copy of your most recent utility bill with name & address OR
    • A letter from your real estate agent on company letterhead confirming your lease will be valid during the 2024 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

  • INTERNAL VEHICLE ACCESS

    Once the gates to the event precinct are secured from 12:01am on Friday, 25 October 2024, all vehicles will require a Supercars issued Vehicle Access Pass to enter the event precinct for safety and security purposes. 
  • IMPORTANT ACCESS NOTE: 

    No vehicles will be able to drive in and / or out of the event precinct during event hours (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7am to 7pm). Outside of these hours, access is possible with a Vehicle Access Pass. 

    The gates to the event precinct will be closed promptly at 7:00am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is extremely important that your vehicle is removed from the race track and designated clear ways prior to 6.30am each morning. Failure to follow this instruction could result in your car being removed at your own expense. 

    Please confirm the total number of vehicles that are registered to your household and will require a Vehicle Access Pass.

  • EXTERNAL VEHICLE PARKING

  • If you DO require use of your vehicle during the hours of 7.00am-7.00pm on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, you may request additional passes to enable parking external to the event precinct. 

  • NOTE: Official Supercars Vehicle Passes can only be used on vehicles registered to your address. This will be enforced by Police and council staff. These passes are non-transferable and are not to be sold or used by family or friends.

  • Option 1: 
    Main Beach Street Parking: these passes allow you to park within the council restricted parking areas (on street) in Main Beach. 

     

    Option 2: 
    Bruce Bishop Secure Carpark*: these passes allow you to park at the Bruce Bishop Carpark in Surfers Paradise (please make note of the location before requesting this pass).

    *Note that passes for Bruce Bishop are monitored closely - any residents who do not use their pass will not be eligible in future years

  • BOAT PASS: 

    If you require a boat pass, please email mygc@supercars.com

    Please note; boat passes are only offered to those who own a boat and have an allocated mooring within the event precinct.

    Approvals will be made in consultation with Building Managers. 


  • ACCOMMODATION ACCESS PASSES

  • Each dwelling will receive 2x Resident Access passes per bedroom, plus an additional 2x Resident Access passes for the dwelling. For example, if you have a 2 bedroom property, you will receive 6x Resident Access passes.

    If you have additional guests exceeding your allocation of Resident Access passes, they will require an Accommodation Access Pass when accessing the precinct after hours (between 7pm and 7am). This must be used in conjunction with a valid event ticket. 

    For 2024, residents have the option to apply for up to 5 complimentary Accommodation Access Passes per day, for friends and family. Please advise how many passes you require per day below.

  • Please advise how many Accommodation Access Passes you require for each day of the event.

  • REMINDER: THESE ARE NOT RESIDENT ACCESS PASSES, THEY ARE FOR GUESTS AND REQUIRE A TICKET TO ENTER THE PRECINCT. 

    If you are wearing a Resident Access Pass, you DO NOT need to wear an Accommodation Access Pass as well.

  • Please remind your guests wearing Accommodation Access Passes that they must purchase an event ticket for the day/s they plan on entering the event precinct to visit your home.

  • HOME NURSING SERVICES & CARERS

  • If you will require regular home nursing/carers, medical services, Meals on Wheels deliveries or other essential providers during the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, please email mygc@supercars.com for more information. 

  • ACCREDITATION COLLECTION

    The Accreditation Centre is located on the corner of Breaker St and Tedder Ave, in Helen Park (Main Beach). Opening hours are below, but please be advised that these are subject to change.

    Collecting from Building Manager: If you submit your application before Sunday 15th October, you have the option to collect your passes from your Building Manager. This means you won't need to attend the Accreditation Centre to collect your passes.

    Collecting from the Accreditation Centre: Accreditation can only be collected by the resident whose name was listed at the start of this application OR from an authorised collector. See below for more information on this. Under no circumstances will accreditation be issued to anyone else including the Building Manager.

  • WHERE WILL YOU COLLECT YOUR ACCREDITATION FROM?
    Applications submitted before Sunday 15th October have the choice to collect from their Building Manager or the Accreditation Centre - please advise below your preference.

  • AUTHORISED COLLECTOR

  • Approved accreditation can only be collected by the resident listed on the application form. 

    Photo ID (e.g. driver’s license or passport) must be shown when collecting accrediation from the Accreditation Centre. 

    If you are unable to collect your accreditation, you can authorise someone to collect on your behalf. Please provide us with their full name below. They will be required to show their own Photo ID to collect accreditation on your behalf. 

    In no circumstances will accreditation be mailed out to residents.

  • ADDITIONAL PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • SELLING RESIDENT ACCESS PASSES

  • RESIDENTS ARE REMINDED THAT IT IS ILLEGAL TO SELL RESIDENT ACCESS PASSES.

     

    These passes are issued in good faith and under no circumstances are they to be offered for sale or transferred.

     

    Individuals found in possession of Resident Access Passes obtained from an unauthorised source, or a stole or counterfeit pass will be prosecuted. The passes will also be cancelled immediately and noted against your application.

     

    The Gold Coast 500 is governed by the Major Events Act (Qld) 2014 which prohibits the resale of tickets over 10% of the ticket's original value. As Resident Access Passes are provided free-of-charge to residents, it is illegal to sell these for profit in any way. 

  • RESIDENT ALCOHOL POLICY

  • Residents are reminded that alcohol is NOT permitted to be brought into the precinct between the hours of 7:00am and 7:00pm each day (25th - 27th October). This applies to both glass and canned products.

    If you need to bring alcohol into the precinct, you must do so after racing has finished each day - between 7:00pm and 7:00am. The same policy also applies to anyone holding an Accommodation Access Pass.

  • SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

  • Following submission of your application, you will receive an email from mygc@supercars.com confirming that we have received your application. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours of submission, please send us an email so we can follow up.

    This email DOES NOT mean your application has been approved. We will review all applications and you will receive an email confirming the outcome of your application closer to the event.
