Scholarship Criteria
- ASI Board & ASI Scholarship Committee Members are not eligible.
- Applicants must be registered students enrolled in at least 6 undergraduate or 4 graduate units.
- Good Academic Standing with the University at time of application.
- Applicant must have already completed at least one semester at Sacramento State at time of application.
- No Student may receive more than one ASI Disability Access Scholarship per academic year.
- No student should receive more than $1,000 per semester in ASI Scholarships
Application Materials

Each scholarship essay should be no more than 600 words. Essays that go over the word count of 600 will be disqualified.

a.“Describe an obstacle or hardship that you believe students with disabilities face
pursuing their studies.

b. “Explain the impact it may have on a student’s life and how it will influence their
future.”

*As stated in Title 5 Section 42500 (d) of the California Education Code: all...grants-in-aid shall only be given to currently admitted students. A record of such financial assistance shall be forwarded on a timely basis to the campus financial aid office. *
