• Cultural Entertainment Registration 2025

    Register to be part of the celebration to welcome in the Year of the Snake! This form is for the Festival Day Cultural Entertainment (11am to 4.30pm, Sunday 16 February 2025). There will be two programmes (stage performances in TSB Arena and a performance participation programme in Frank Kitts Park). We are also seeking registrations of interest to participate in performances and/or parade for a "Paint the Town Red" event to be held on the evening of Saturday 1 February. We are working with Courtenay Precinct for this event with details to be confirmed.

  • Festival Day 16 February - TSB Arena stage programme

    You may register for up to three items, however, it is the organisers final decision on the number accepted. This will be based on diversity and age of performances; type of performance (song/dance/instrumental); maximum opportunities for different groups to participate; and scheduling considerations.
    It is important to complete questions a-h for each item.

  • Festival Day 16 February - Frank Kitts Park performance and participation programme

    We are looking for groups to present a programme of workshops in Frank Kitts Park. This will comprise of a short performance (5 mins) followed by a workshop (20-30 mins).

     

  • Paint the Town Red  1 February - Courtenay Place

    You may register for up to three items, however, it is the organisers final decision on the number accepted.

  • Conditions of Participation

    1. This is a family event and celebrates the Lunar New Year Festival.
    2. Political or religious messages, displays or handouts are not permitted.
    3. Asian Events Trust (AET) reserves the right to request removal of signage/material that they deem inappropriate.
    4. AET reserves the right to use photos/videos from the Festival for marketing purposes.
    5. Groups refusing to comply with these conditions will be asked to leave.
    6. Groups agree to meet deadlines for supply of information and requirements for performances by AET.
    7. Make your volunteers/helpers aware of the above five points.

    Please note:

    AET will advise groups of their participation in the festival, and confirmation of items to be included in the stage programme by 7 December. 

    No performance fee is offered but AET will endeavour to give a koha to groups subject to to the level of funding obtained and providing all costs for running the festival are covered.
