HIGHBALL HALLOWEEN returns on Saturday, October 26, 2024 as the Nation's most elaborate costume party- and this year, is adding an all new HIGHBALL BAZAAR in partnership with Matchmakers Market!
Staged in the fashion capital of Columbus, this yearly event for the Halloween season bridges runway style with the culture of the Short North Arts District. Now entering its 17th year, HighBall Halloween has grown into what Fox News called “the single most elaborate Halloween event in the country” and what USA Today called “one of the nation’s top ten Halloween costume parties.In the past, HighBall Halloween has filled the streets in the Short North Arts District each year with over 15,000 attendees throughout the evening. Attendees range from Columbus locals to regional visitors and include adults of all ages. This year, as is being experienced by other local events, we’re anticipating crowd larger and more engaged than ever before.
**APPLICATIONS WILL CLOSE SEPTEMBER 30.**
Applications for this market are for a 10x10 space at an outdoor market. Vendor must provide all set-up needs, including tents. Bus vendors, coffee and non-alcoholic drink vendors are welcome to apply. Unfortunately, food trucks will not be permitted. Vendors will be notified via email if accepted, and payments will be due within 5 days of acceptance. Thank you!

Load-In/Load-Out
The market will take place from 2pm-8pm. All vendors will be provided an official vendor credential and assigned to a designated loading entrance area. We ask that all vendors have at least two people who attend the event so that one person may accompany vendors’ items at all times and one person may remove vendors' vehicles. Please keep in mind there will be 80+ vendors and small businesses that will need to set up, and that it is a public street. Vendors are not permitted to load-out prior to the close of the market at 4pm.
All vendors must be set up and ready for sales by 1:45 pm to allow for 15 minutes of marketing and final inspections before guest arrival.

All vendors must have and supply their own 10’x10’ tent, with 10+ lb weights for each leg and three side walls. Each vendor will be responsible for providing all of their own setup needs, including tents, walls, tables, racks, chairs, display surfaces, etc. Electricity is not available at this event. Items utilizing an open flame, gas or liquid fuel propellants, or other flammables are strictly prohibited. An Ohio transient vendor license is required to participate. Vendors must be able to provide said vendor license number, which will be provided to the City of Columbus. Matchmakers Market and Short North Alliance will not be liable for fines incurred due to a lack of appropriate permitting.
