Objectives:
1. To stand in solidarity with those who are suffering from mental and emotional struggles by our presence through songs, Scripture, and stories, where laments and tears are given space, not to be endured alone, but to be witnessed and to receive the hope of being accompanied
2. To confess areas where the church has fallen short, and examine our own biases related to mental health issues, such as,
a. Mental health issue is something one can snap out of on one’s own
b. Mental health issue is due to a person’s lack of faith and sin
3. To bring comfort and offer a space of lament and prayer for those going through mental and emotional struggles, including their caregivers, through songs, Scripture, and curated stories related to mental health issues
