    Day 1 and Day 2: Smaart Operator Fundamentals Training
    Instructor: Jamie Anderson

    Class Description: This 2-day Smaart Operator: Fundamentals course is designed to teach you the essentials of setting up and configuring a Smaart measurement rig. You'll learn how to make basic RTA, Spectrograph, Transfer Function, and Impulse Response measurements.

    Key highlights include:

    Understanding how to make valid and useful measurements.
    An overview of general system measurement theory and its application in Sound System Engineering and Alignment.
    Functional knowledge of Smaart as a tool and its application in sound system engineering.
    Data interpretation alongside acquisition.


    Certification: This course is certified for 6.5 Renewal Units (RU’s) for InfoComm (AVIXA) CTS, CTS-D, and CTS-I programs.

     

    Day 3: Smaart Operator Advanced Training
    Instructor: Jamie Anderson

    Class Description: Building on the Fundamentals course, this advanced training dives deeper into topics extending beyond the basics. Participants must have Smaart Operator Level 1 Certification or proof of attending the Fundamentals course.

    Practical application of techniques learned in the Fundamentals course.
    Advanced measurement and analysis techniques.

    Prerequisites: Participants must have Smaart Operator Level 1 Certification or proof of attending the Fundamentals course. Instructor/host approval is required for those without these prerequisites.

    Smaart Certification

    The Smaart Operator Fundamentals Level 1 Exam is open to all Smaart users, however, the exam is specific to the terminology, workflow, and interface of Smaart v8 and later. For more information on Certification, click here.

     

    Optional Day 4: DAS Audio ALMA and ARA Training

    Course Overview: This introductory course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to operate, configure, and optimize DAS Audio’s ARA Series systems using the proprietary ALMA Software.

    Key topics include:

    Introduction to DAS Audio ARA Series

    Overview of ARA Series line array and point-source systems
    Key features and benefits
    Product range and configurations
    Introduction to ALMA Control Software and Remote MonitoringApplying Smaart v9 techniques for system tuning and time-alignment
    System monitoring and diagnostic functions
    Performing firmware updates and system management
