Photo Requirements

I will gladly accept all tattoo photos. However, if you'd like to receive a $25 credit toward your next tattoo, or just cause you're nice and want me to have good photos, please follow these guidelines:

Take your photos in bright, natural light. Outside, or a sunny room works well.
Have someone else take the photos. Straight-on photos are best.
Submit a minimum of two photos - one close up shot showing the whole tattoo, and one candid photo of you showing your face and the tattoo.

Please show the full tattoo. A good distance for the photo is about 5" away but use your best judgement.

This can be as formal or candid as you like. Please include your face and the tattoo in the photo.

Photo Permissions

Please note that I will be using these photos to learn as an artist, but also to promote my small business. Tattoos are so unique in that your "product" is attached to a person! I like to share photos of my tattoos to show my skill, but also photos of my clients faces to show that I'm not a jerk and my clients actually like their tattoos. However, I understand that everyone has different privacy preferences. If you'd rather not have your photos used in marketing, please indicate so below.

Also when I say "marketing", I mostly mean on my website and on my instagram. I haven't had much other needs or uses so far.

Tattoo Credit Terms

Okay, so I hate "terms and conditions", but find it useful to set clear expectations for us all when creating promos. The $25 photo credit can only be used for tattoos priced over $100. It can only be combined with other promos, like the refer a friend credit, for a maximum discount of $50. You must let me know when booking your tattoo that you'll be using a promo credit. I will email you once I've received your photos to confirm that they're eligible for the $25 tattoo credit. Please just email me with any questions.
