Welcome to the Active BC Kids Community Engagement sign up form! We are happy you are interested in this initiative and we look forward to hearing from you.
The Centre for Family Equity’s Active BC Kids Community Engagement is a community engagement initiative in partnership with the BC Healthy Living Alliance. We are carrying out community engagement with equity-seeking families in BC to discover opportunities to create more inclusive physical activities for their children and youth. The engagement is open to all parents and caregivers of all genders and diverse identities who qualify for participation.
This engagement has a particular focus on Metro Vancouver and BC’s Northern region. An in-person focus group was held in Prince George in early September, and there is one in-person focus group in East Vancouver coming up in October. If you live in a rural or remote location where a focus group is not being held we offer a on-one Zoom interview booked with staff at a time convenient for you. Thank you for letting us know your location and what kind of engagement you wish for below and the appropriate sign-up options will appear for you in this form.

This community engagement aims to create a network of families connected by their interest in physical activity access and opportunities who are keen to impact policy development in this area. If you wish to sign up for more involvement in the project, please do so below. This community engagement project runs from August – November 2024. Thank you and we look forward to hearing all of your input!
