Program Elements
We are paying on a per-acre basis for growers to use seed that does NOT have neonicotinoid insecticides as part of the seed treatment. We are not asking for alteration of any other growing practices apart from the neonicotinoid seed treatments. Per past federal programs, we are paying at the following rates: $10/acre of corn, $15/acre of soybeans, and other crops TBD.
