Did you know that bike and multisport helmets are the most effective way to prevent head injuries in the event of a crash? Suffering from a head injury can cause lifelong consequences that are preventable. Wearing a properly fitting helmet when participating in wheeled sporting activities like biking, inline skating, skateboarding, or when using a scooter is the safe and smart thing to do. Safe Kids Grand Forks will be offering ALL students at your school the opportunity to purchase and be fitted for a helmet at a reduced price. It is critical that you note the order deadline below as we cannot return to fill late orders.
We cannot fill your order if your child is absent, as children are measured and fit for their helmet at the event. If your child is absent, you may contact our office at 701-780-1489 to set up an appointment for helmet fitting. Children may bring a helmet they already own; we will check it for size and fit.

Bike Helmet

These should only be worn for riding a bike, as they do not provide adequate protection for other activities

Multi-Sport Helmet:

These helmets are designed for bike riding as well as when using scooters, in-line skates, skateboards, and roller skating. They provide additional protection to the back of the head.
