  • Welcome to the Registration Portal for North Carolina Harmony Brigade! NCHB 2026 will be our 32nd rally, and will be held...

    Friday, January 9th - Sunday, January 11th, 2026 at the
    Hampton Inn & Suites Southern Pines-Pinehurst
    200 Columbus Dr, Aberdeen, NC
    (Same as the past 3 years). 

    All registrants (current members, returning members, candidates, 1st time visitors, guest quartets, and scholarships) will use this form to register.  We have an optional Thursday evening program on January 8th as well. You should know that you're signing up for the BEST quarteting weekend you can imagine!

     

    Basic Registration for this year is $330 and covers

    1. A shared room in the Hotel for Friday and Saturday nights
    2. Four meals (Fri-Sat dinner, Sat-Sun breakfast)
    3. A downloadable PDF of the scores for all 12 songs.
    4. Downloadable MP3s of the learning trax for the 12 songs with your voice part predominant (additional parts available for an extra charge)

     

    Important Note: We will not be offering the option of a printed songbook this year. For members who prefer a printed book and can print it at home, office supply stores like Staples or Office Max will spiral bind it for about $5. Having them print and bind it in a manner similar to previous years will run about $30.  

     

    At this time, we are not planning protocols other than the sensible request that if you are sick in any way, not just COVID, or have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID, please stay away. In other words, the same normal precautions you would take for any public but close-together indoor event. Of course, anything could happen in this theatre of operations between now and January. Our final decision date on medical protocols will be November 1, 2025.

     

    A proviso: All Brigades get a special deal on the copyrights for the music we distribute because it is for use in the Brigade context only, which is not revenue-making. If you decide to perform these songs with your quartet or chorus back home (which is actually one of the great things about Brigade!), you will need to purchase new copies of the songs for your own group before adding them to your repertoire.

    First-year Scholarship Applicants

     

    Chuck Greene was a founding member of the North Carolina Harmony Brigade in 1993. He initiated the drive to make scholarships available to young men under the age of 28 or under, to assist them in paying for tuition and costs. There are many members now in NCHB who started their careers as scholarship awardees. The first year Scholarship award covers tuition, music, lodging, meals, and a Brigade concert shirt. Second-year covers all but 15% of the same costs. Third-year covers 50%.

    If you will be 28 or under as of Jan 9, 2026, and would like to be considered for a Chuck Greene Youth Scholarship, please complete the questions in this section.

    First-Time Guests

     

    If you are applying to NCHB for the first time as a regular, non-Scholarship participant (or it's been many years since you've attended NCHB), please complete the questions in this section.

    The NCHB is an invitational event, like all the Brigades. Please provide the name of the one who invited you. If there wasn't a specific person who invited you, then just leave this question blank, and we'll get in contact with you.

    Lodging Options

     

    The base registration covers a shared room at the Rally Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights. If you do not specify a roommate, one will be randomly assigned (unless you choose the solo room option).

    Thursday night (optional) is an additional charge. If you request a solo room for the weekend, then your Thursday night room will also be solo.

  • Lodging Choice*

  • There are larger, 2-person King and Double Queen suites available on the first floor of the Hotel. If you opt for a suite at the same rate as a regular room, you agree to let your room be used for additional quartetting and quartet practice on Friday and Saturday evenings until midnight. There are only a few such suites, so it's first come - first serve.

    The regular registration covers Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast. The meal plan does not cover lunches on any day.

    In the box provided below, Please describe any special dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc.) We can't guarantee all requests, but will do our best to accommodate.

  • Thursday Night Dinner @ Beefeaters

    If you're planning to arrive Thursday by 7pm, consider joining us for dinner at Beefeaters Restaurant.  This cost is not part of the base registration, so you'll pay your own bill at the restaurant, but the food is good and company is even better!  If interested, please select yes below so that we can plan accordingly with the restaurant.

    Brigade Concert Shirt

    The Brigade Yellow Concert shirt is required for performing on our Saturday show (paried with black slacks and shoes). The cost of the shirt ranges from $39-$51 depending upon size (shirt is included at no additional cost for Chuck Greene scholarship recipients).  If you need to order shirt, please indicated the size needed below.

    The basic NCHB 2026 Registration includes a downloadable MP3 of the Learning Tracks for the voice part that you indicated above. In this section, you can order ADDITIONAL Learning track MP3s in the other 3 voice parts. Or don't order anything additional at all!

    Our CD-making days have sadly gone, and we're all about those MP3 downloads now! But for the rare few who truly need a physical CD for your voice part due to specific circumstances, our awesome contest administrator, Jason Ward, has volunteered to help out. If this is an absolute must-have for you, let us know below, and we'll work with Jason to make it happen!

    The Chuck Greene Scholarship: Fueling the Future!

     

    The Chuck Greene Youth Scholarship program exists to attract and support young men in attending the NCHB Rally — and if you’ve been to a Rally recently, you’ve seen the impact these young singers have. They’re not only talented vocalists but also bring energy and joy to every foursome they join.

     

    Here’s some things you might not know:

    • The First Place quartet at the 2020, 2024, and 2025 NCHB Rallies each included a first-year scholarship recipient.
    • The Ambassador Award — given to the individual people most enjoyed singing with — went to a first-time scholarship recipient in both 2024 and 2025.

     

    The Scholarship covers 100% of Rally expenses (hotel, music, meals, and shirt) in the first year, all but $35 in the second year, and 50% in the third. It’s entirely funded through voluntary donations — not the NCHB general fund.

    We need your help. A gift of just $10 from each of us would be enough to bring in five new young men this year.

    • After clicking the Submit button below, you will recieve an automated e-mail containing a summary of your submission.
    • Members and Candidates will be directed to the payments page, where payment of the initial deposit ($175 for most) is due upon receipt. Payments are processed by PayPal (account not required), or you can print the payment screen and mail it with a check.
    • Application acceptance for first time Guests begins Wednesday, July 16th (10 days after registration begins for Members and Candidates).  These registrations are typically reviewed within 48 hrs and an e-mail acceptance with a link to the payments page will be sent.
    • Once we receive your deposit, we will send you a link to the on-line folder that contains the Song Book PDF and all the MP3s for you to download.
