Please review the statements below WITH YOUR CHILD and sign to indicate your consent, understanding, and agreement. One form must be completed for each student by Friday, August 23.

Agreement Statements
We agree that we have read or will read the 2024-2025 Parent-Student Handbook (on the LCCS website) by September 10, 2024, and consent to the policies established therein. We understand that the Parent/Student Handbook contains the policies that guide LCCS. Review the handbook at lccs.cc/handbook.
We give permission for the above named student to take part in LCCS activities including off-campus trips where transportation is provided by LCCS approved and licensed, adult bus/van drivers. This includes, but is not limited to, field trips, sporting events, rehearsals, class trips, outreaches, IU13 classes, etc. (Individual permission slips will be required for trips where transportation is provided by parent/guardian drivers or in private vehicles.)
Pennsylvania makes textbooks and certain instructional materials available to students in private schools. In order for LCCS to receive these materials, parents/guardians must request the loan of these materials for their child’s use. We understand that in order to receive funding from the state to purchase textbooks for all students, we must indicate our agreement by checking this box and signing below.
(Preschool-Grade 6) We understand that students need to be enrolled ahead of time or we must notify the receptionist before 12 noon on the day we wish to utilize after-school care. We also understand that preschool-6th grade students who are not picked up from the carpool line by 3:25 pm will automatically be sent to the after-school care program, and we will be charged accordingly. Technology Agreement
Lancaster County Christian School will provide and control access to computer usage for students for the purpose of enhancing curriculum, academic development, and research. The use of LCCS computers, network, and internet is a privilege, not a right, and may only be used under the specific guidelines of the teacher or computer lab monitor. This privilege may be revoked for anyone who uses the resources inappropriately.

To provide access to necessary services, LCCS may need to create accounts for students or have students create accounts to access the needed resources and materials. This includes but is not limited to, Family Portal, Google Workspace for Education Fundamentals, Typing.com, etc. This requires LCCS to accept the terms of service for these accounts on behalf of the student. School accounts are not to be used for personal use.
- Students should never give their LCCS account password(s) to anyone. They should never log in with any username and password other than their own. Students should logout of any account they sign into on school devices when they are done using the device.
- Students should not attempt to bypass system or internet security or in any way gain unauthorized access to any computer resources.
- Internet access at LCCS is filtered. Students may not attempt to bypass this filtering. If a student should come across a site that contains inappropriate content but is unfiltered, they are expected to leave the site immediately and report it to a teacher or administrator.
- Students may not access social media or gaming sites at school unless it is for school purposes and directed by the teacher.
- Students should not engage or interact with material that is in violation of governmental regulation or law, or is copyrighted, offensive, or obscene.
- While using LCCS computers, students will strive to act in all situations with honesty, integrity, and respect for the rights of others. Students should not attempt to obtain or modify files, passwords, or data belonging to other users.
  IT staff and administration members reserve the right to monitor and log all of student network and Internet activity at any time.
- Use of personal devices (including laptops and tablets) during classes may be done only at the discretion of the teacher. Personal devices will not have access to the LCCS wifi.
- Students are responsible for any school device they use. This includes, but is not limited to, safely transporting LCCS devices around the school, not removing labeling, not writing on LCCS devices, and/or returning devices to the correct place and plugging them back in. Students should not store LCCS devices in their backpacks, lockers, etc.
Whereas electronic devices have become multi-functional, similar consequences will be issued for the misuse of cell phones and other electronic devices. Because cell phones have become an academic distraction, students who bring cell phones to school must keep them off and away all day. Cell phones are not to be used at any time during the school day (8 am-3 pm). Phones should be kept in a backpack or locker completely out of sight.

Any user of the network who violates the policies outlined in this document or engages in any other act determined to be an unacceptable use of the network by school administration, will have his or her user access revoked and may be subject to other disciplinary procedures according to existing and applicable school policies.
We understand and agree to comply with the above technology and internet usage guidelines.
Family Directory

The FACTS Family Portal has a Family Directory feature so that LCCS families can easily access each other's contact information. Please note that the family directory information can be accessed by all parents/guardians and students.

Over-the-Counter Medication

With parent/guardian permission, LCCS nurses are able to administer over-the-counter medications as needed during the school day.
