Conditions of Entry
1. A ranking sheet and entry details, including Vet certificate of current vaccinations, must be supplied for every dog entered. (A copy of or original vaccination certificate to be sent in with entry form.)
2. All dogs must be working sheep or cattle and be of good quality.
3. Current vaccination certificates must be sent with entry form for all dogs entered into the auction.
4. Nutrien Boulton's encourages vendors to send a good quality digital video presentation of the dog working with entry form (Youtube link). Video will be presented with the online Auctions Plus catalogue for prospective buyers to view prior to the sale.
Please note: Video will be used on the TV screens during the auctioning of your dog. Live demonstration will be solely pre works, not during auction.
5. All dogs nominated must match the description submitted on the entry form and the ranking as described on the attached guide. Nutrien Boulton's reserves the right to refuse any dog entry to the auction if it is uncontrollable or of inferior quality or endangering stock or endangering spectators.
6. Dogs must work in demonstration they are rated in, e.g. rated for “cattle”, must be demonstrated on cattle or description will be changed by Nutrien Boulton's
7. If a dog is judged to be not of the description provided on the entry form, then Nutrien Boulton's may change the dog’s ranking or remove it from the auction without any liability for any loss or damage resulting from such action. If a dog is ejected from the auction, no entry fees will be refunded.
8. Dogs biting sheep will be asked to be muzzled or withdrawn from auction for welfare of stock being used. An exception will be made for the use of controlled bite during cattle demonstrations.
9. Dogs nominated for cattle demonstrations should be experienced and capable with cattle work.
10. Handlers must demonstrate/sell in catalogue order.
11. Dogs nominated cannot be substituted unless substitute dog approved by Nutrien Boulton's.
12. Dogs nominated can not be sold prior to sale. Nutrien Boulton's hold sole agency from once dogs are nominated untill 14 days after completion of auction.
14. A maximum of 50 dogs will be accepted for the sale. If this number is surpassed then dogs will then be balloted out, in consultation with vendors.
15. Maximum 3 dogs per handler
16. No bitches in oestrus permitted on ground without prior approval.
17. All dogs will need a vet check certificate supplied on day of sale.
18. All dogs must be delivered in the same condition as sold at auction
19. Dogs under 6 months of age on the day of the sale will not be accepted
20. Dogs must be onsite on sale day though don’t have to pre work.
21. Vendors will receive payment from sale of their dogs by direct deposit (bank details required) or to Nutrien Acc within 14-21 days of sale or clearance of payment from buyer (if payment made by cheque), if payment is delayed vendors will be notified.
Nutrien Boulton's reserve the right to change/alter any of these conditions to best suit the sale, public image or vendor’s needs.
