If you are on a multiple-point charge, fill this section out for the "lead" benefit church which will establish the EAP and conduct all of the enrollments, data entry, and pay the bills. If this is not for the "lead" church, skip and move on to Section II. The schedule below is for GMC benefits for clergy (Deacons, Elders, TLP, Supply Pastors, Valid Elder/Deacon). If you are a Lay Minister, complete Time Status and move on to Section II.

SECTION V: LOCAL CHURCH EXPENSES FOR CLERGY/MINISTERS

These are additional expenses (if you are eligible), the local church would cover on your behalf but that are not income to you. Enter 0 if you are not eligible.
Health Insurance
Church's share of annual health insurance premiums. Enter 10500 for clergy only; 19800 for clergy plus 1; 27000 for clergy family per GuideStone 2024.
Clergy's personal pension contribution percentage eligible for church matching
Enter the number of the percent you are contributing to your pension eligible for church matching, i.e. 0-5. Any number greater than 5 is not included as a cost to the church in this calculation.
Pension
Auto-calculation of the church's share of your annual pension cost including matching contribution. This does not include the amount the clergy is personally contributing above 5%.
Life and Disability
Auto-calculation of the amount the church is required to pay for all clergy serving 3/4 Time or Full Time. This is estimated. The full amount will be calculated by GuideStone and billed to the church quarterly.
Other Expenses in the Church Budget
Include parsonage or housing expenses paid directly by the church, accountable reimbursements for receipted expenses, or other budget line items in the church budget designated to support your appointment/assignment. These are not income to you.
