Forsyth Forward is a dynamic and involved community non-profit organization. Board members must attend scheduled meetings in person or participate via phone or Zoom if unable to attend in person due to legitimate reasons such as health, family emergencies, or work commitments. Timeliness and attendance at every meeting are expected from board members. Outside of scheduled meetings, the time commitment would likely range from 4 to10 hours per month. Board members are strongly encouraged to take part in fundraising, development activities, and local community events. As community ambassadors, board members are expected to attend business ribbon cuttings, Forward after Five events, and similar activities as much as possible. Board members are expected to commit to the role for at least one year, and term limits will be established at a future date. Are you able to make this commitment to Forsyth Forward?
