Greetings Future Facilitators!

Thank you for your interest in the Psilocybin Facilitation Training
Program.
The application is designed to gather information about you, your education and
professional experience, as well as indicate your past experience in serving
others and supporting others experiencing altered states of consciousness.
We encourage applicants with a minimum of a high school education (or its
equivalent), professional experience and previous psychedelic experience who
are a minimum of 21 years old by the start of the cohort that they wish to join.
We expect this form will take approximately one hour to complete, and
appreciate you providing accurate information in your answers.
Please note that the training is scheduled to begin April/March 2025.
Applications are processed on a rolling basis but must be submitted no later
than February 30th 2025 to be considered.
There are no additional requirements other than information that’s requested in
this form. Your application is complete upon the submission of this form with the
25 dollar application fee.

Requirements to be a Psilocybin Facilitator:
● Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
● Must be a resident of Oregon (provision expires in 2025)
● Must complete a facilitator training program with curriculum that has been approved by
OPS
● Must pass a regulations exam administered by OPS division of OHA.
● Must pass a criminal background check
● Must pay a license application fee
● Must pay an annual license fee to OHA

Subtle Winds does not require that you provide documentation to verify you have met these minimum state requirements but OHA will require you provide verification before you receive final certification.

Subtle Winds Facilitator Training Program requires that participants are available and able to participate in the training as follows:

• Two 2.5 hour online training sessions per week
  (Tuesday/Thursday 5:30pm to 8:30pm)
• Two hours a week to watch/read/absorb/online course materials including online videos, completing assigned readings and reflection questions and ocational quizzes and/or attend online zoom small group sessions.
• 3 Weekend in person training retreats (Friday/Saturday 8am-5pm) in Eugene, Oregon and at a retreat center in Oregon.
• Satisfactorily complete an end-of training oral and written exam/assessment
• Asynchronous Learing Material (2-5 hours a week average)

BIPOC/LGBTQIA+/Needs Discount Application

This discount is intended for individuals who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and/or those who have financial need.

Historically Marginalized Communities and Low Income Student Discounts:

Subtle Winds is dedicated to increasing access for students who come from historically marginalized communities and/or who are low income. To this end, Subtle Winds has a discount/sliding scale program that may forgive 25% or 50% of the student's tuition cost, depending upon each student's income level, and add for as many individuals as possible in each cohort.

Students will submit a request for this discount through an application form. Discounts will be offered to those students who demonstrate need, emphasizing those who come from historically Marginalized Communities including Women, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, People living with a disability, and other such communities including low income community members. We will be limited in the amount of discounts we can offer and will assist as many students as possible in each cohort.

Criteria for Consideration:

In order to be eligible for a tuition discount, you must meet one or more of the following criteria.

-You are a student or trainee at our school.

-You are a member of a low-income and/or historically marginalized group.

-You are experiencing current financial hardship.

Process:

1. Tuition Discount requests must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the start of the training program. 

2. Requests will be reviewed by the Enrollment Team and a decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.

3. Applicants will be notified of the decision via email.

We ask that potential students who are considering applying for a discount, first review the image below of The Green Bottle Financial Privilege scale below, to assist in determining their financial capabilities and level of financial privilege, as we will only be able to offer a discount to a limited number of students in each cohort. 

This discount program allows Subtle Winds to offer financial assistance to those who need it most. Discounts will be considered on an individual basis with a focus on providing financial assistance to those who need it the most.

Subtle Winds Diversity Commitment

Subtle Winds recognizes the contribution of Indigenous communities, BIPOC, Women, and people from the LGBTQIA+ communities in carrying plant medicine and forwarding psychedelic healing modalities.
