    31 July - 8 August 2025
  • Welcome!

Chilawee Trails Camp for Girls is a camp for girls ages 9 to 14.

Chilawee is a camp with a Catholic spirit. Daily Mass, Rosary, and confession are all available and the talks and mentoring are conducted in a way consistent with Catholic principles. No one is compelled to attend any of the spiritual activities.

Chilawee is an overnight camp. There is a dress code and various other policies governing electronics use and reading materials. These are outlined below.

Please talk with your daughter about camp before applying as it is a better experience for all if she is happy to be at camp :)

Once you submit the registration form, it will be reviewed by the Camp Registrar and she will be in touch either with more questions or to confirm your registration.

  • NOTE TO PARENTS:

Time: Chilawee 2025 will have one long Camper session starting on Thursday, July 31st, 2025 and running to Friday, August 8th, 2025.

This longer camp session allows us to offer a better programme of fun activities, provide better formation in terms of mentoring and talks, and give more time for campers and staff to form deep friendships.

Fees: Camper fees for this year are $750 for regular campers (9-13.5) and $795 for LITs (13.5-14). Financial assistance and payment plan information is included in this form. PLEASE NOTE: LIT-aged campers are not permitted to fill regular camper spaces. We have found that this does not make for a good camp experience. These registrations will be cancelled.

On Camper Departure Day (Friday, August 8th) we are hosting an open house for all camper families. Please consider coming to enjoy Mass, swimming and food with us.

  • NOTE TO PARENTS:

We strive to provide a warm and friendly environment at camp. However, it is not always the right environment at the right time for a person in crisis.

If your daughter is experiencing significant difficulties emotionally, mentally, or physically, we ask that you reach out to the Camp Registrar beforehand for a frank discussion. We want Chilawee to be a positive experience and clear communication ahead of time is essential. Please email chilaweetrails@gmail.com with your contact info and some good times to reach you. We will be in touch within three (3) days.

Information that you share with us, either in this form or via phone or email, is kept strictly confidential.

  • Camp Policies

    Dress Code

Chilawee Trails promotes and enforces a dress code policy. We do not allow two piece bathing suits, mini shorts/skirts, tight clothing including yoga pants, spaghetti strap or low cut tops or tops that show off the midriff area. Please ensure the clothing your daughter packs adheres to this dress code. Please do not send your daughter’s best shorts, shirts, or jeans as camp clothes often get dirty and worn.

    Electronics

Video games, electronics and portable music devices are not welcome at camp since they promote social isolation. We want the girls to have a positive, socially engaging experience. Cell phones must be turned in to the camp directors upon arrival and may be picked up prior to departure.

    Harassment

It is the intention of Chilawee Trails to create an environment that fosters friendship and kindness. Through the mentoring program, campers are given an opportunity to identify and work on individual shortcomings, including unkindness, to promote personal growth and development. Harassment, defined as aggressive personal pressure or intimidation, will not be tolerated at camp.

Parents are asked to respect, support, and enforce these policies. Campers who refuse to adhere to camp policies will be required to leave and parents will be notified and asked to pick the camper up.

  • Medical Information

This information will be passed on to camp nurse or health care aide to ensure your daughter's medical needs are properly looked after while she is at camp. The camp cook will be informed of any food-related issues. All emergency information will be available to the camp directors and to your daughter's cabin staff so that they will be prepared.
  • PLEASE SEND A PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR DAUGHTER'S HEALTH CARD WITH HER TO CAMP.

  • Allergies

Note: If your daughter has a complex diet, camp may not be the best fit for her. Chilawee can accommodate gluten free and lactose free diets; however, due to the complexity of preparing food for large numbers of people, other diets cannot be accommodated.

  • Immunization History

IF YOUR DAUGHTER HAS NOT RECEIVED ONE OF THE VACCINES, PLEASE USE THE DATE 1900-01-01, AND PROVIDE MORE INFORMATION IN THE BOX BELOW (E.X. AGE, MEDICAL EXEMPTION)
