"CREATE & INNOVATE" Final Showcase
Empowering young people to lead and co-create youth social action and creative campaigns, addressing stigmas in healthcare, particularly around female reproductive health and gender identity.
Youth-led video campaigns & presentations will be shared with local stakeholders on the 2nd September from 1.30-2.30 pm on Zoom.
A Q&A session will follow, allowing young people and stakeholders to discuss collective efforts in tackling healthcare disparities in the Southampton community.
Key Goals and Objectives
- Empowering young people to lead social action projects.
- Addressing stigmas around female reproductive health and LGBTQIA+ issues in healthcare.
- Engaging with local young people through creative methodologies.
- Creating a lasting legacy through youth-led findings and performances.
- Fostering a sense of civic pride and community cohesion among young people in Southampton.

- Young participants from the CREATE & INNOVATE youth social action programme
- Young people from Southampton (aged 14-25 yrs) interested in hearing and learning more about the creative campaigns and findings
- Local organisations and authorities seeking to understand youth perspectives and initiatives for healthcare reform.
