Assistant Chef (18+)
Overview: Assist our culinary team in preparing and serving nutritious meals to campers and staff. The Assistant Chef must enjoy food preparation, strictly implement kitchen safety and sanitation standards, and possess the stamina to remain on their feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
Concessions Coordinator (17+)
Overview: Lead daily operations across our campus concession venues, including the snack bar and gift shop. The Concessions Coordinator oversees staff through clear delegation, direction, and constructive coaching. Candidates must deliver friendly customer service, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and ensure facilities meet camp presentation standards.
Counselor (18+)
Overview: Serve on the front lines of ministry at Lamoka Baptist Camp by guiding, leading, and mentoring campers throughout their stay. Counselors are integral to the camp experience, sharing the Gospel, modeling Christ-like character, and building meaningful relationships with youth.
Requirements & Expectations: Candidates must demonstrate patience, high energy, and stamina for long active hours outdoors. Attendance at Training Week (late June) and availability for all youth camp weeks is required. (If you have scheduling conflicts, please contact management prior to or immediately following your application). Counselors able to work all Youth Camp Weeks may receive a raise in pay.
Additional Work: Counselors are not required or automatically scheduled to work family camps, retreats, or pre-season weeks; however, a limited number of paid counselor positions are available during family camp weeks upon request.
Foodservice Coordinator (18+)
Overview: Oversee the Foodservice Staff to ensure meal operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The Coordinator leads through effective delegation and oversight, maintains high standards of sanitation and state compliance, and provides a welcoming atmosphere in the Dining Hall. Candidates must be comfortable standing and moving for most of the workday.
Hospitality Coordinator (16+)
Overview: Lead the Hospitality Crew in keeping the campus clean, organized, and inviting. The Coordinator oversees outdoor grounds maintenance (including litter management and weeding), facility sanitation, and small campus enhancement projects such as painting and organization.
Maintenance Coordinator (18+)
Overview: Direct the Maintenance Team and oversee full-scale facility upkeep across campus. Responsibilities include tracking and addressing repairs, assisting with plumbing and electrical tasks, managing waste and recycling, supplying firewood, operating power tools and heavy equipment, and remaining on call during camp events. The Coordinator ensures all operations strictly comply with state safety codes.
Media Coordinator (18+)
Overview: Direct the camp’s digital footprint and storytelling. Responsibilities include creating and scheduling promotional social media content, managing website updates, producing video content, and drafting weekly newsletters. Candidates should possess strong technical and creative skills, sharp attention to detail, and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
Nurse (21+)
Overview: Lead health and medical care operations across campus to safeguard the wellness of all campers and staff.
Requirement: Must hold an active RN or LPN license. Please contact camp administration directly for complete details regarding schedule, scope, and compensation.
Office Administrator (18+)
Overview: Manage daily camp office operations and administrative services. Duties include answering phone inquiries, routing messages, managing files, printing materials, assisting with website and online gift shop maintenance, and delivering high-quality customer service to camp families and visitors.
Program Coordinator (18+)
Overview: Design, organize, and execute the overall program strategy for Camp Lamoka. The Program Coordinator leads the Program Team, designs games and electives aligned with the seasonal summer theme, manages activity safety standards (including climbing wall and zipline operations), and maintains state regulatory compliance across all events.

Senior Lifeguard (17+)
Overview: Provide active supervision and emergency response for all waterfront activities on Lamoka Lake. Senior Lifeguards maintain strict vigilance, enforce water safety rules, and assist with waterfront equipment upkeep.
Requirement: Must hold current Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
Starter’s Day Camp Counselor (16+)
Overview: Provide dedicated leadership, supervision, and ministry to our youngest day campers (ages 9 AM to 4 PM daily across three designated summer weeks). Day Counselors share the Gospel, lead activities, and foster a nurturing, patient, and high-energy environment.
Schedule & Options: Candidates must attend Training Week and work all three paid Day Camp weeks. Day Counselors interested in volunteering or taking paid roles during non-day-camp weeks are encouraged to contact management to discuss available placements.
Waterfront Coordinator (21+)
Overview: Direct all aquatic operations, including Waterfront and Boat Dock Staff, to deliver safe and engaging water activities on Lamoka Lake. The Coordinator ensures strict compliance with state water safety regulations, manages staff scheduling and supervision, and maintains equipment to high operational standards.
Requirement: Must hold required supervisory waterfront certifications (contact administration for complete qualification details, but these include Lifeguard Management Course, CPR, First Aid, Waterfront Certification, and prefereably WSI as well).
