1.) ADM501: Church Administration - This area of study introduces students to the requirements of developing a church and the tools necessary to sustain and grow it. Topics studied include: Incorporation, accounting procedures, specific areas of ministry, job descriptions, legal/law, working with a Board of Directors, etc.
Prerequisite: None

2.) MET501: Ministerial Ethics (formally "The Role and Life of the Minister") - This course addresses the best practices, concerns, and challenges leaders and Ministers (seasoned, new, or in training) should be aware of in conducting their
respective ministry. What are the ethics involved in completing pastoral duties, pastoral care, pastoral counseling, managing a church community and building, approaching politics and other social issues, dress code, delivering sermons, Biblical interpretation, working with other ministers inside and outside the denomination, etc. Although this is the praxis of Christian ethics, a refresher of the major themes from the Christian Ethics course will guide the practical
ethics of the student’s ministerial work.

To receive credit and a final grade for an M.Div. course, you must submit an application and be admitted into the program as a Student. Persons enrolled in courses without being admitted into the program will be considered an Auditor. No exceptions.
