Application for Ordinary Transferable Membership
Information for Ordinary Transferable Membership:
1. To qualify for permanent membership at the Penang Swimming Club, applicants must spend at least RM500 within 2 months prior to the election meeting. However, Junior Members converting to Ordinary Transferable Members are not required to spend RM500. This requirement excludes junior conversion memberships.
2. Upon submission of all required documentation, the applicant’s profile will be displayed on the club’s notice board for 28 days. During this time, applicants will be issued a temporary membership card. However, as temporary members, they are not allowed to participate in any sections or groups.
3. Election proceedings take between one and three months.
4. Proposers and seconders must themselves have been "active members" of the club for at least 6 months. Please click the "Save" button below each time a proposer or seconder signs this application form to ensure all existing information is saved. This link is not shareable; the proposer or seconder must physically sign the form.
5. The proposer and/or seconder are required to attend the election meeting with the applicant. However, Junior Members converting to Ordinary Transferable Members are not required to attend the election meeting.
6. All information provided in this application must be accurate and complete.
7. Membership acceptance requires you to join at least one Section for a minimum of 2 years. Groups are optional. Click here for more details.
Normal transfer from Seller to Buyer

- Photocopy of the applicant's ID card (IC) or passport. (Plus applicant's spouse- If Applicable)
- Applicant's passport size picture. (Plus applicant's spouse - If Applicable)
- Photocopy of the applicant's marriage certificate. (If Applicable)
- Photocopy of each children's birth certificate. (Ages below 16, If Applicable)
- Online payment receipt or a cheque of RM6,480.00, payable to Penang Swimming Club including GST.
Transfer from Parent to Child
- Completed "Transfer of Membership Form"~Downloadable
- Photocopy of parent's ID card (IC) or passport.
- Photocopy of the applicant's ID card (IC) or passport. (Plus applicant's spouse- If Applicable)
- Applicant's passport size picture. (Plus applicant's spouse - If Applicable)
- Photocopy of the applicant's birth certificate.
- Photocopy of the applicant's marriage certificate. (If Applicable)
- Photocopy of each children's birth certificate. (Ages below 16, If Applicable)
- Online payment receipt or a cheque of RM648.00, payable to Penang Swimming Club including GST.
Conversion from Junior Member to Ordinary Transferable Member (OTM) [Ages between 21 and before 24th Birthday]
- Photocopy of the applicant's ID card (IC) or passport.
- Applicant's passport size picture.
- Conversion fees, please consult with our administrative team.
7. Payment Method either online payment or cheque, cash in not allowed.

Once the form is completed, it should be sent to the Club Secretary, who will subsequently present it to the Election Committee for consideration.
