TOURNAMENT FORMATS

Under 11s will be a mixed event
Under 13s & 15s will have separate boys & girls event.

U11 MIXED / U13 BOYS / U15 BOYS

The tournament format will be a hybrid of knock-out and two-stage Round Robin league.

Round one will be 5 groups of five players. Each competitor will play four matches against every other player in their group.

The winners and runners-up in each of the 5 groups will go into a single knockout championship competition in the afternoon. The 3rd placed players will into Division 3, 4th placed players into Division 4 and 5th placed players into Division 5. Divisions 3, 4 & 5 will be a round-robin league format.

The 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed players in the Championship will receive medals on the day.

U13 GIRLS / U15 GIRLS

Round robin (groups of 7) followed by Knockout (The top two players in each group go through to the Semi-finals).

Winners, Runners-up and Semi-finalists will receive medals on the day.

ENTRY FORM

A separate entry form must be completed by each player. Entries to be received no later than 5th July 2024. All entrants should ensure that they have read the regulations, which apply to this tournament

IMPORTANT: NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED UNLESS THE FOLLOWING UNDERTAKING IS SIGNED.

Please read the Tournament Regulations and conditions and unless otherwise agreed in advance do not enter unless you are prepared to play until the projected finish time of between 6-7 pm.

I undertake to observe the regulations of the tournament, to abide by the decisions of the Referee, and to fulfil the schedule of play arranged for me unless prevented from doing so by circumstances beyond my control and accepted as such by the Referee.

Table Tennis England require consent to the use of personal data in the administration of this competition, in accordance with the TTE Privacy Policy; the information will be shared where necessary with the organisers and event committee. ANTI-DOPING DECLARATION

The UK Anti-Doping Rules apply to all persons entering an event or competition, for whichever is the longer of a) the length of their membership or licence period; or b) 12 months from the date of their participation, whether or not the entrant or licence holder is a citizen of, or resident in, the UK.

A player under 18 may not participate in a Table Tennis England event or competition unless a parent or guardian of that player has consented to testing of that player in the following form:

If player is under 18:
Anti-Doping Acknowledgment I have legal responsibility for the player named above and I confirm that I have read the TTE Anti-Doping Regulations (Appendix P) and that I hereby acknowledge that the player is bound by these Regulations.

REGULATIONS:

1. Every entrant must be affiliated as a Compete Plus Member or provide proof of being a member of another National Association affiliated to the ITTF. An entrant who is not a TTE member or is affiliated as a Supporter or Club Play Member may alternately purchase a One-Off Tournament Pass at the time of entry via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/

   An entrant only affiliated as a Compete member may enter the tournament upon payment of the appropriate One-Time Tournament Top-Up fee via https://tabletennisengland.sport80.com/

   It is not possible to obtain the OTTP or the OTTT at the tournament.

2. TTE Regulations Part A (Regulated Competitions) and Part B (Tournament Regulations) apply to the tournament.

3. ITTF Regulations for International Competitions apply to the tournament except where otherwise specified in TTE Regulations Parts A or B, or in this form.

4. All competitors may be required to umpire at least one match in each event entered.

5. U11 MIXED / U13 BOYS / U15 BOYS
   The tournament format will be a hybrid of a two-stage Round Robin league and a single knockout tournament.

6. Matches will be best of five games (1 time-out per match)

7. Under 11 Mixed (born after 31st Dec 2013)
   Under 13 Girls (born after 31st Dec 2011)
   Under 13 Boys (born after 31st Dec 2011)
   Under 15 Girls (born after 31st Dec 2009)
   Under 15 Boys (born after 31st Dec 2009)

8. Playing clothing shall consist of a shirt and shorts, trousers, leggings or skirt, or a one-part sports outfit, socks and playing shoes; a sports hijab may also be worn. Other garments shall not be worn during play except with the permission of the referee. ITTF 3.2.2.1 amended. The main color of a shirt, shorts, trousers or skirt, other than sleeves and collar of a shirt, shall be clearly different from that of the ball in use. ITTF 3.2.2.2 amended.

9. No competitor or official shall engage in betting on players or matches.

10. Doping shall not take place either before or during play.

11. Completion and submission of this Entry Form signifies agreement by the entrant to the conditions of the competition, including any variations of ITTF regulations.

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

2. The Draw will be held on Monday 23rd September 2024.
3. If it becomes necessary to restrict entries, priority will be given in order of receipt. No entry will be accepted after the draw has been made.
4. Food & drink may be purchased at the venue. There are showers & changing room facilities.
5. Open cans/other drinks are NOT allowed in the playing hall.
6. Play will take place on up to 21 Butterfly tables. Butterfly Nets & Posts. Scoring machines will be available for all matches. Separate practice tables will not be available.
7. Play will be with Sanwei 3 star white balls.
8. Tables will be individually courted. Min ceiling height: 7m; Min. Court Size: 9m X 4.5m.
9. Lighting is general & fluorescent lighting. Light intensity is 500 lux. Min floor to lighting height: 7m.
10. The venue has wooden sprung flooring.
11. There will be no admission charge.
12. The venue has ample free car parking spaces immediately to the right of the main entrance on Spur Road. There is a security barrier at the main gate.
13. The results from this tournament will qualify for computer ranking points.
14. In the case of a player withdrawing from the tournament prior to the closing date, refunds will be processed after the tournament has taken place.
15. No refunds are possible after the closing date under any circumstances.
16. Medals will be awarded to Winners, Runners-up and Semi-finalists in the Girl's events. Medals will also be awarded to the First, Second and Third placed players in the Championship competition in the Boy's and Mixed events.
17. All entries and event details are subject to COVID-related restrictions, or protocols that Table Tennis England may deem necessary. Venues used for events may impose COVID restrictions that go beyond government guidance.

19. TTE, the Organisers and the Referee will not tolerate bad language or verbal abuse of volunteers, officials, staff or venue staff, nor a failure to follow the operational directions of stewards and event staff. We will treat all such instances extremely seriously and will take disciplinary action if necessary. 20.
