Application & Booth Area Information
Please consider the following before beginning your application:
- Each application is reviewed by all selection committee members, who carefully consider submitted materials.
- The application deadline is December 1, 2024 and all applicants will be notified on a rolling basis through January 2025.
- Applications must be completed in one sitting, so we highly recommend making sure you start the application when you can take the time to complete it in full.
- Prepare to upload image files of four (4) artworks that are indicative of the type of work you wish to exhibit at the Fair, please keep in mind works showcasing a similar in style, medium, price, and size. Files will need to be .jpg and under 5MB.
- Prepare to upload two (2) images of past booths at other fairs, events or artist marketplaces. Files will need to be .jpg and under 5MB.
- Questions marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
- All successful applicants must commit to attending the fair in person to represent their own work. A deposit is required to confirm participation, and 100% of booth fees are due in advance of the fair.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This application is for the Artisan Section. If you are wishing to apply to our General Artist Application or New Futures program you will need to submit through a different application.
If successful, you will be contacted with an offer to exhibit. Your Fair Package will include:
- A booth at The Other Art Fair Chicago taking place at Artifact Events March 27-30, 2025.
- Preparatory materials to assist you in making the most of your investment, including dedicated workshops, an artist portal, weekly email updates, and more.
- Consideration for inclusion in pre- and post-Fair marketing campaigns through The Other Art Fair and Saatchi Art.
- Artist networking to help you connect with a global community of artists.
Booth Pricing for Chicago March 2025 Artisan Section:
10’ x 10’ booth area = $750 USD
Note: No tax is applied on booths in Illinois. No walls or lighting is provided.
All art sales made onsite at the fair are processed through our central payment system. An 18% commission applies to all art sales, which covers processing fees and complimentary wrapping for buyers, so the majority always goes back to you, the artist.
