OVERVIEW
The Coral Springs Museum of Art seeks creative individuals with an interest in the visual arts for internship opportunities. Offered year-round, internships at CSMoA provide a platform for undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical, hands-on experience in our exhibitions, education, and development departments.
CSMoA’s programming includes exhibitions, educational classes, workshops, community education programs and initiatives, publications, and many other events. Our goal is to match each intern with duties that align with their interests and learning goals.
INTERNSHIP SCHEDULE
Summer Internships take place between June and August
Fall Internships take place between September and December
Spring Internships take place between January and May
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN INTERNSHIP AT CSMoA
· Strong verbal communication skills and a pleasant telephone manner
· Energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic to learn
· Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
· Fast learner, team player, and responsible
· Require minimal supervision
· Familiarity with Windows operating system (Microsoft Word, Excel)
· Visual arts background (knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe Acrobat are a plus)
· Valid driver’s license and transportation (preferred, not required)
· Previous work experience
· A passion for the visual arts and/or culture is essential
· Ability to commit to a minimum of 3 months
COMMITMENT
The CSMoA internships require a commitment of at least 15 hours per week for 3 consecutive months during CSMoA business hours of Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm. Scheduling for this internship is flexible. Weekend and evening hours may be required during special events.
