The Empowering Youth Today/Taking Pride in Prevention Council brings together a diverse group of community members, including parents, guardians, and youth. Our mission is to identify the challenges facing young people in our community and collaboratively develop solutions that positively impact their well-being. This council also serves as a platform for members to provide input and recommendations on existing youth empowerment programs facilitated by the Jackson County Health Department. Meetings are held quarterly, with a hybrid option available to ensure accessibility and convenience for all participants.
