  • It's Okay to NOT be OK – Workshop Request

  • This new single-session 70 to 90-minute workshop is geared towards high school grades only. Offered in person and available at no cost and limited capacity to schools or youth organizations in Vancouver, Burnaby and the North Shore.

     

    We are now welcoming requests for November 2025, and have limited capacity left in September.

     

    If you'd like to request this workshop on a fee-for-service basis, please email Lana on youthworkshops@crisisicentre.bc.ca to inquire.

     

    We require host organizations or schools to provide the following : (Please, take some time in advance to set up and test the technology).

    1. Regular classroom or multi-purpose room (no computer lab, please)

    2. Computer with a USB port, connected to the power, projector and speakers (to present Powerpoint Slides/ videos)

    3. Teacher or School Counsellor to oversee each workshop in full.

    4. School Counsellor contact for their awareness. We'll CC them in the confirmation email.

  • Details Needed:

    • Number of participants per workshop (max. 30 per workshop)

     

    Our capacity is limited.

    We have a small team of experiences Youth Educators to deliver this workshop. To help us accomodate your request, please allow flexibility and provide multiple dates and time slots. If requesting more than one wokrhsop at a time, it is ideal that they are scheduled back-to-back with 10-20 mintues in between.

  • This workshop is supported by a grant and is free to local schools at a limited capacity.
